János Bálint, flavta (Madžarska)

János Bálint se je rodil leta 1961 na Madžarskem. Diplomiral je na Akademiji za glasbo Franz Liszt v Budimpešti. Bil je solo flavtist Madžarskega radijskega simfoničnega orkestra in Orkestra madžarske filharmonije. Trenutno je profesor na Musikhochschule v Detmoldu in gostujoči profesor na Akademiji za glasbo Karol Szymanowski v Katowicah na Poljskem. Kot solist je koncertiral po vsem svetu in posnel preko 30 zgoščenk. Vsako leto priredi tudi okoli 10 mojstrskih tečajev po vsem svetu. Leta 2008 mu je za dosežke na izvajalskem področju madžarsko Ministrstvo za kulturo in izobraževanje podelilo najvišjo nagrado Franza Liszta.

János Bálint was born in 1961 in Hungary. He graduated from Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. He was the solo flutist of the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and at the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra. At the moment he is a professor at Musikhochschule of Detmold, Germany and a guest professor at Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland. As a soloist he has performed all over the world and recorded over 30 CDs. Every year he gives more than 10 master classes worldwide. In 2008 he was awarded the highest Hungarian recognition for musical performance, the Franz Liszt prize by the Ministry of Culture and Education of Hungary.

Vincenzo Paci, klarinet (Italija)

Vincenzo Paci je diplomiral z odliko iz klarineta na Konservatoriju “V. Bellini” v Palermu pri maestru Di Notu. Kot prvi klarinetist Italijanskega mladinskega orkestra je igral na več turnejah po Italiji in Evropi ter še v mnogih drugih orkestrih po Italiji in Evropi. Od leta 1997 je solist orkestra Teatro “La Fenice” v Benetkah. Sabine Meyer ga je povabila k sodelovanju na šesti Klarinettennacht v Lübecku, kjer je bil dobro sprejet pri poslušalcih in kritikih. Učil je na večih mojstrskih tečajih. Posnel je tudi kar nekaj Mozartove solistične in komorne glasbe.

Vincenzo Paci, clarinet (Italy)
Vincenzo Paci graduated with honors in clarinet at the Conservatory “V. Bellini” in Palermo with Maestro Di Noto. As the principal clarinet in the Italian Youth Orchestra he played on several tours in Italy and Europe. He has also been the first clarinet in several other orchestras in Italy and Europe. Since 1997, he is the first clarinet of the Orchestra del Teatro “La Fenice” in Venice. He was invited by Sabine Meyer to participate in the 6th Lübecker Klarinettennacht, where he was praised by audiences and critics. He has also taught several master classes. He recorded many solo and chamber works by Mozart.

Gerald Preinfalk, saksofon (Avstrija)

Gerald Preinfalk prihaja iz Severne Avstrije in je sprva igral klarinet. Ko pa je odkril dunajsko raznovrstno glasbeno vzdušje, ga je prevzel saksofon. Študij tako jazz kot tudi klasičnega saksofona mu je odprl široke možnosti za izvajanje. Svojo radovednost je nadalje potešil še s študijem v Bostonu in Parizu. Od leta 2000 je član ene najbolj priznanih zasedb za sodobno klasično glasbo, Klangforum Wien. Kot gost je sodeloval z raznimi big bandi in jazz zasedbami ter nenazadnje s klasičnimi orkestri, med njimi z Dunajskimi filharmoniki. Njegovi projekti se raztezajo od klasične glasbe v spremljavi klavirja, preko dramske glasbe, pa vse do proste improvizacije. Od leta 2008 je profesor klasičnega saksofona na Univerzi za glasbo in upodabljajočo umetnost v Gradcu.www.gerald-preinfalk.at

Gerald Preinfalk comes from the North of Austria and started playing the clarinet at an early age. The saxophone became a vocation when discovering Vienna’s various scenes for music. Studies of jazz and classical saxophone opened a wide range of possibilities for performing. Guest studies in Boston (USA) and Paris completed this constant curiosity. Since 2000, he is a member of “Klangforum Wien”, one of the most renowned contemporary classical music ensembles. Guest appearances have teamed him with classical orchestras like Vienna Philharmonic and various big bands and jazz ensembles. His own projects extend from classical chamber music with piano, over theatre music, to free improvised music. Since 2008, he holds the tenure for classical saxophone at University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.www.gerald-preinfalk.at
