Arkadij Winokurow, violina (Ukrajina, Avstrija)

Arkadij Winokurow je študiral violino na Šoli za glabeno nadarjene N. Lysenka in nato na Državni glasbeni akademiji Čajkovski v Ukrajini. Leta 1980 je postal gostujoči profesor na Konservatoriju v Tampereju na Finskem in leta 1987 glavni dirigent in umetniški vodja Kijevskega komornega orkestra. Leta 1992 se je preselil v Avstrijo, kjer je kot učitelj hitro pridobil mednarodni sloves. Bil je dolgoletni profesor na Zasebni univerzi Antona Brucknerja v Linzu. Učil je na mojstrskih tečajih v Evropi, Rusiji, ZDA in na Japonskem in bil imenovan za sodnika v komisijah državnih in mednarodnih tekmovanj. Nadaljeval je tudi kariero violinista – kot prvi violinist godalnega kvarteta Arte Viva, nastopal pa je tudi z Vienna Philharmonic Ensemble po Evropi in v Vzhodni Aziji. Avstrijski skladatelji so mu posvetili več del.

Arkadij Winokurow studied at the Special Music School N. Lysenko as well as at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. In 1980 he became a guest professor at the Tampere Conservatory in Finland and in 1987 the chief conductor and manager of the Kiev Chamber Orchestra. In 1992 he moved to Austria, where he soon gained international reputation as a teacher. He was a professor at Anton Bruckner Private University for many years. He has given master classes in Europe, Japan, Russia and USA and has been nominated as a juror at national and international competitions. As a violinist he continued an international career – as first violinist of the Arte Viva Quartet and performing with Vienna Philharmonic Ensemble in Europe and East Asia. Numerous Austrian composers have dedicated pieces to him.

ALFREDO ZAMARRA

Alfredo Zamarra, viola (Italija)

Alfredo Zamarra je brez dvoma eden najbolj zaželjenih in iskanih italijanskih violistov našega časa. Študiral je na Konservatoriju v Piacenzi pri Claudiu Pavoliniju. V sezoni 1995-96 je bil Zamarra kot vodja viol povabljen v orkester Gustava Mahlerja in igral s Claudiom Abbadom in Bernardom Haitinkom. Nekaj let je bil prva viola v večih pomembnih orkestrih po Italiji, prihodnji junij pa bo vodil sekcijo viol v orkestru Amsterdam Sinfonietta. Zamarra trenutno deluje kot solo violist orkestra Teatra La Fenice v Benetkah. Kot solist je večkrat izvajal bolj znana dela iz violske literature. Redno igra v komornih zasedbah. Večkrat je snemal, tako za radio in televizijo, kot tudi za priznane glasbene založbe.

Alfredo Zamarra, viola (Italy)
Alfredo Zamarra is without doubt one of the most appreciated and sought-after Italian viola players of our time. He studied at the Conservatory of Piacenza with Claudio Pavolini. During the season 1995-1996 he was invited by the Gustav Mahler Orchestra as leading viola and played with Claudio Abbado and Bernard Haitink. For some years Mr Zamarra was the first viola of several prominent Italian orchestras and he will lead the viola section of the Amsterdam Sinfonietta next June. At the moment Mr Zamarra is the solo viola of the Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice in Venice. As a soloist Mr Zamarra has repeatedly performed the more-known viola literature. He is also busy as a chamber music player. He recorded several times for media and the recording labels.

VADIM PAVLOV

Vadim Pavlov, violončelo (Rusija/Italija)

Se je rodil v Leningradu kjer je diplomiral na konservatoriju leta 1983 v razredu Emmanuela Fischmanna. Bil je prvi čelist več evropskih orkestrov, trenutno pa je solo violončelist v orkestru Teatro Bellini. V njegov širokem repertoarju je posebna pozornost namenjena skladbam za violončelo solo, še posebno glasba J. S. Bacha, vse od leta 1986 ko je posnel Suito za violončelo št. 1 v izvorni različici. Leta 1994 mu je bil podeljen naziv Viteza svetovnega reda za glasbene vede v Genevi. Leta 1999 je pričel nastopati v duu s pianistom Lucom Ballerinijem. Pavlov je profesor na Konservatoriju Reggio Calabria. Redno prireja mojstrske tečaje v Italiji, kjer živi od leta 1990. Leta 2014 mu je bila podeljena državna nagrada “Domenico Danzuso”, ki je najpomembnejša nagrada, ki jo prejmejo glasbeniki na Siciliji.

Vadim Pavlov, cello (Russia/Italy)
He was born in Leningrad where he graduated at the conservatory in the class of Emmanuel Fischmann in 1983. He was the principal cellist of important European orchestras and currently works as the principal cellist at the Bellini Theater Orchestra in Catania. In his extensive repertoire the works for cello solo hold an important place, especially Bach cello music starting from 1986 when he recorded the Bach Cello suite no. 1 in its original version. In 1994 he was bestowed the title Knight of the World Order of Music Sciences in Geneva. In 1999 he formed a duo with the pianist Luca Ballerini. Mr Pavlov is also a professor at the Reggio Calabria Conservatory. He regularly holds master classes in Italy where he has been living since 1990. In 2014 Mr Pavlov was awarded the prestigious national prize “Domenico Danzuso”, the most important prize given to instrumental musicians in Sicily.
